Hall Rental

The Mead Volunteer Fire Department coordinates the use of a hall and kitchen for rental. It is often rented for graduations, weddings, fundraisers, receptions, family gatherings, or business meetings.

Fire Hall rental is available to residents of the Mead Fire district only.  Renters primary address must be in our coverage area, or the rental request will be denied.

$250 per day. Must be paid for in advance.

Click here to view the scheduling calendar for availability. Hall availability is also subject to Fire Department and Village of Mead needs. Chairs and tables are to remain at the hall and are not available for rent.

The Mead Fire Department does NOT have a permanent liquor license for this building. Any "open door" events MUST have a liquor license if alcohol will be on the premises, regardless if it is a BYOB event. Per the state liquor laws, we are only allowed to have 12 events with alcohol per year at this location, due to this restriction, we may not be able to host your event. Graduations, for example, cannot have any alcohol in the building, and weddings would require a liquor license from a caterer.

Alcohol is permitted at private events.  In order to qualify as a private event it cannot be advertised (including social media), and you must submit a full guest list ahead of time.  If someone shows up at your event and they are not on the submitted guest list, they are not allowed to enter.

The conduct of all participants and spectators while at the Mead Volunteer Fire Hall shall be the responsibility of the Renter. Renter also accepts all responsibility for any injury to person(s) or property, or loss of or damage to property or theft of personal property at the Mead Volunteer Fire Hall during the rental period, or resulting there from. The Mead Volunteer Fire Department retains the right to evict objectionable persons from the premises or to call for security/police help if deemed necessary.

Decorations must be free standing.  Do not staple, tape, or use tack strips on the walls.  Renter is responsible for damages.
