The Mead Volunteer Fire Department coordinates the use of a community building. We offer the community meeting room, hall and kitchen for rental. Suggested events include fund raisers, receptions, concerts, business meetings and pancake or spaghetti dinners.
Cost per day
Meeting room with less than 3 hours No fee (donations welcomed)
Meeting room over 3 hours $50 with $50 deposit (refundable)
Meeting room with kitchen $100 with $100 deposit (refundable)
Hall with kitchen $200 with $125 deposit (refundable)
Hall without kitchen $150 with $125 deposit (refundable)
Please see the calendar below for events and review the rental agreement. Contact Dalene Selko at The Bank of Mead for additional questions and to turn in your rental agreement and deposit. Hall availability is also subject to Fire Department and Village of Mead needs.
Chairs and tables are to remain at the hall and are not available for rent.
The conduct of all participants and spectators while at the Mead Volunteer Fire Hall shall be the responsibility of the Renter. Renter also accepts all responsibility for any injury to person(s) or property, or loss of or damage to property or theft of personal property at the Mead Volunteer Fire Hall during the rental period, or resulting there from. The Mead Volunteer Fire Department retains the right to evict objectionable persons from the premises or to call for security/police help if deemed necessary.
